Excited.

I think this is what I would have done if I was at Westminster Abbey yesterday! This is how excited I was.

This will definitely make you smile big. :)

Beautiful Princess.

I LOVED the Royal Wedding yesterday. I woke up at 6:30am so excited for the day ahead. Quickly got up and got ready and then watched every minute of the whole thing from 8:00am until well into the afternoon.
I love every minute of it. All the hymns, I loved. The sermon that the Bishop of London preached, I loved. He was so kind and smiled and spoke to William and Kate, I should really say the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge now! Her dress was beautiful. She looked absolutely beautiful, like a Princess really. I thought her hair was very simply and classy. I thought her sister looked lovely too. My goodness, those Princes looked very handsome in their uniforms. I decided I will either have to marry a Prince or someone in uniform. (I am totally kidding, but let a girl dream alright?)

I had so much fun watching it. Everytime I saw a Royal family member I would scream..yeah I screamed A LOT! I found the whole thing so excited and I am so happy that I took time to watch it. I don't care how sad people think I am, I will love telling this story to my kids one day!!

Just in case you have been hiding in a cave all weekend and didn't manage to see ANY footage from yesterday, I will leave you with the highlights from the day.

Hope you are all having as great a weekend as I am!

Royal Wedding.

I am SO excited for the Royal Wedding tomorrow. I have the weekend off work (don't worry, I didn't ask it off just for the wedding. It just conveniently worked out great for me!) I will be getting up at the crack of dawn to make sure I don't miss out on any of the action. And also because I am making some decorations/baking for a little birthday celebration this weekend, you will hear more about that.

Below is a little photo of a postcard (I like to call it my ivitation to the wedding!) Not the best photo, but you can still see how ridiculously good-looking these kids are. Ah. SO EXCITED!!

I will leave you laughing at how excited I am. I know that I am sad...I might even watch the DVD I have on ALL the previous Royal Weddings just to make sure I am excited as I can possibly be. In the UK it is going to be broadcast on TV all day, but I think you can also watch it online. I don't think it will be hard to watch it wherever you are. Soooo you better be checking in to see the Royals looking beautiful. I am pretty sure that I will be crying. I love my Royal Family.

Enjoy the WEDDING!

The little one.

The little one was home for 2 weeks. It was so good having him home. And the best part is that I don't even have to miss him yet because he is home for the weekend again tomorrow. I made a point of taking some photos of us together.
Sometimes he was being pretty difficult.
Sometimes he was being pretty funny.
Sometimes he was being pretty sweet.

Sometimes he was being pretty werid.
But whatever faces he was pulling, it sure was great having him home. Can't wait to get him home again this weekend for his birthday. How is it that my baby brother is turning 18? This scares me a lot.

The ultimate sacrifice.

I always get very emotional when I think about what our Lord did for us. This weekend I will be thinking about the sacrifice that  our Lord Jesus made for us, and our Father in heaven who sent His one and only Son to save us. This is much more important to me than the Easter eggs that will be eaten. As much as I love chocolate I love my Lord more.

Praying that you all have a blessed weekend. I'll be praising the Lord.

Here is a little video that will get you emotional. I cry every time I watch it.

Lifted up.

I don't think I shared about my very encouraging moment a few weeks ago. I was doing some shopping in Perth and I could here this music playing. So I started to walk in the direction it was coming from. I walked down a very creepy alleyway (even in daylight!) and there it was. The little shining light. There was a choir from one of the Churches singing worship songs. I am so moved by worship music. I wanted to join in with them, dancing and singing. I kinda did actually. It was definitely a wee gift from God. He knows what we need and exactly when we need it. It was beautiful. I was moved to tears. So I am going to post a little video of the song they were singing. Enjoy. I hope this encourages you as much as it encouraged me. Just imagine you are wandering around the shops and you hear this.

On a roll.

I am totally on a roll with posts! But this is what I always do. Post, no post...post post. Anyway, back to it. This is just quick. I had a fun day out shopping with the ma today. I a little bit of money money from some relatives for my birrrrthday so I had an excuse to spend it. I am on major, major save just now. More on that soon. I managed to find some super duper bargains for summer. We have been fortunate enough to have lots of sunshiney days of late and I am so enjoying it.

The sun was shining today, I was smiling. I wore sunglasses! I like this alot.

Ok. I am going to share a little music with you. Have you heard of Adele? Say yes, even if you haven't. Of course you have. She is great. I totally wore out her first album, like to the point where I couldn't listen to it for ages because I was like "blah blah blah..I know all the words, neeext!" So you can imagine how excited I was when her 2nd album came out. Ah. I love it. She has an amazing voice, such a beautiful tone to her voice. Listen to her. Now.

I will leave you singing along to Miss Adele. Enjoy.

p.s. I am back to work tomorrow. Mixed feelings about this. It will be nice to see everyone. But when my alarm goes off at 5:55am tomorrow morning I will not be thinking about how nice it will be to see anyone.
