Eighteen.

I can't believe that, today, my baby brother turns 18!!!
I managed to find some cute photos of this little one. Just to warn you, some are really cute. This guy was just the cutest baby ever born.

He was a HUGE baby. He was 10lb 11oz. AH.
Pretty sure that this was his first Birthday. How lucky he is to have 2 big sisters fussing over him!

What was I telling you about the cutest baby EVER? Yeh, I wasn't joking.

I was so excited to have a baby brother because he looked just like by doll, was the same size and could fit into all of my doll clothes! YES.

Swimming in the garden, back in the days when we always had HOT summers.

Check out how sweet he looks here. His sisters sure do love him.

He was SO smart. He could even get his own cereal. Can you see it spilling all over the table? You can't be mad at that face though? This is how I always picture him.

First Birthday again. With Grandpa and big big sister.

I loved holding him. My mum tells me this all the time.

He was full of personality when he was little! That definitely hasn't changed.

He was always busy doing something outside, getting dirty!

He always makes silly faces, making his sisters laugh.

He didn't lose his cuteness as he grew up. Look how angelic he is!!

This kid is SO musical. He is really, very talented. He can pretty much play any instrument you put in front of him. I love this photo because he just looks so happy.
Such a handsome boy.

Look at that smile, and that hair. He has always had the most beautiful, blonde curls.

Did I mention that he is tall and good-looking?
Looking very smart in his uniform. He is in the Navy and it has been SO great for him. He loves it. He has really grown up since joining.
At his surprise birthday BBQ on Friday. Even without his golden locks, he looks just as handsome.
So there is just a glimpse into how wonderful and adorable my little brother is. He is such a blessing and such a joy to be around. He has gone back to Portsmouth today, so we didn't get to celebrate today. But we have been all weekend! I already miss him and it is hard because we don't really know when we will see him again. I am pretty sure that his sisters will be visiting him soon though! I love you, Fin. Thanks for filling our home with love and laughter for 18 years.

Was I really there?

On Monday we celebrated my 22nd Birthday. Wow. Don't think I really thought about that one. That really crept up and bit me in the butt. Yikes. Right now, I love getting old. I love being a year older. I love being 22. In 10 or 20 years we will see if I am still so excited about getting older. I had a lovely day with the brother and mother. The day before my sister and I went for a picnic in the town we went to school. It was so fun and very chilled out. Just what we needed. We were reminiscing about old school days. It was lovely.

Lucy, Fin and I also went to the movies on Monday night. We went to see The Lincoln Lawyer. I enjoyed it. But I really want to read the book. But you should definitely go and see it. We enjoyed it.

So here is my little problem, something that I am upset about. I have no pictures of all this. I had a special day out with my sister. No photos. I had a lovely day with my brother and mum. No photos. Birthday cake. No photos. Presents and cards. No photos. So I think it is time to do something about this. I want to have photos of these special memories and not just take pretty photos of flowers. When I spent 4 months in Australia with my family I had so many photos. Photos of the different places we went, and my family. But not lots of photos with me and those places and my family. I basically have a flipbook of the Californian countryside from my first trip over there, but not many of all the amazing people that I met. So from now on I am going to always carry my camera with me. I am going to take it to work with me, when I go into town to do shopping, when I go for a walk, when I am watching a movie with my sister, when I am making dinner, when I am sewing something cute, when I am making people laugh, when people are making me laugh...I am going to have all these things in photos.

You should check out this lady. I know that I am always linking to her blog, but really you need to listen to this lady. She says it really well right here. Ok, so she is talking about getting in the photo with your kiddies but there is a little bit at the bottom where she is speaking to me!!

So I am going to leave you with a little photo of me and my peroxide blonde, curly hair! (so I got my hair done a few weeks ago, it was SO blonde when I left. She said to me "it looks so natural, just the natural sun-kissed look." I looked outside, it was pouring with rain. But really, I love it now that I am used to it.)

Oh Happy Day!

Just a very quick wee post. Such a lovely weekend was had by all celebrating a special little lady! My dear mother turned 49 today! WOW. I have been telling her that she is soooooo old... but I have also been telling my sister who turns 24 this year that she is soooooo old, so really it doesn't mean anything if I tell you that you are old...because I tell everyone this! - that wasn't confusing was it? Anyway...a HUGE

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
to my mamma! I love you. ♥

My sister and I secretly put 49 candles on her wee birthday cake. It was probably the scariest thing I have ever seen. It just looked like we had set fire to a cake and shoved it in her face! There were huge flames and then so much smoke. It did melt the chocolate icing which made it pretty tasty though! You can see some of the decorations peeking in at the corner of the photo and at the top. I will post more about the decorations tomorrow and let you know where I got my ideas from.

Happy Birthday, Sister!

A couple of days ago my sister turned 23! I didn't get to spend the day with her but I did get to spend time with her tonight. I LOVE giving gifts to people so I love to take time to make sure I get something that they will use. My sister and I went to see Julie and Julia when it came out and we just thought it was adorable. So I got her that DVD and it came with some of the recipes from the famous cook book. I am looking forward to watching it with her. I also got her a shirt and necklace, and she changed into it as soon as she opened it. I think that's a good sign!

So here is a photo of my beautiful sister with her birthday cake and wearing her new gifts! She is also wearing another little necklace that mum gave her. It has a heart on one side, and the word "love" on the other. She hasn't taken this off since she got it! Here she is! Isn't she a beauty? I love her!
